I’ve backed several campaigns successfully here. One project had a delay in shipping but the creator was communicative through Indiegogo’s messaging, so that helped. I wish there was more protection for backers if projects fall behind schedule though.

Indiegogo lets me find unique projects you don’t see elsewhere. I found a solar charger here that’s been a lifesaver. The creator was active in updates and the checkout was simple.

I backed a smart home gadget a few months ago with high hopes. The project was fully funded quickly, and I appreciated how Indiegogo showed the funding progress clearly. Communication from the creator was okay at first but later became scarce once the campaign ended, which was disappointing. The delivery was delayed by three months and customer support wasn’t very helpful when I asked for updates. Even with these issues, the product quality was better than expected, so I’m not totally dissatisfied but I’m definitely more cautious now when backing high-value tech projects here.
