Good but needs better docs
I've been using Hummingbot for a couple of months to run some custom arbitrage strategies across Binance and Coinbase Pro. The bot itself is quite flexible and the open-source aspect is great for tweaking. However, I found the documentation a bit lacking, especially around setting up connectors for less popular exchanges which took me longer than expected. Support chats were helpful but sometimes slow to respond. the platform works well once you get past the initial setup hurdles.

The bot performance is impressive for market making, but I waited almost 2 days for help on a config issue. The documentation is helpful but could be clearer on some advanced features.

Started using Hummingbot about six months ago mainly for market making on Coinbase Pro. The testing environment is quite thorough which helped me catch some strategy flaws early. However, I noticed when the market is volatile the bot sometimes delays orders causing slippage. Also the learning curve was steep at first, especially understanding the config files. Despite these setbacks, I appreciate the open-source community contributions that keep adding useful features. it’s a powerful tool but expect to spend time fine-tuning for best results.
