Good books, but ads annoying
The library itself is fantastic for public domain books, but the pop-up ads on the site really disrupt the reading experience. Would be nicer without those interruptions.

During my final semester, I was desperate for affordable sources to access classic literature for my courses. Project Gutenberg came through with an extensive collection of free eBooks, letting me download everything from Shakespeare to Dickens without any hassle. The site layout is simple, and the different format options made it easy to read on my tablet or Kindle. Occasionally, some formatting was off in older texts but nothing that spoiled the content. it was a huge help and made studying way less stressful.

Great for older literature but you won’t find any recent works here. Also, the formatting of some eBooks can be wonky, which makes reading on mobile a bit tough.

I've been using Project Gutenberg for about a year now and it's a treasure trove of classic literature. The website is easy to navigate and I appreciate the variety of formats available for download. It's perfect for students and book lovers alike.

Project Gutenberg has saved me so much money on textbooks and classic novels. The variety is huge and I especially like the easy-to-use search feature. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves reading.

I appreciate the variety of free books available, especially historical texts. Sometimes though, the search function doesn’t filter results well, making it hard to find exactly what I want quickly. Still, it’s my go-to for public domain literature.

The collection is impressive with tons of classics that are hard to find elsewhere for free. However, the website feels a bit outdated and sometimes slow to load, which can be frustrating when I'm trying to quickly grab a book for research.

Love that I can access so many classics without paying a dime. Downloading was smooth on my Kindle too.

I appreciate the huge selection of free books, but sometimes the formatting is a mess, especially with older texts. Took me a bit to clean up some of the ePub files before reading. Still, good for quick references and public domain stuff.

I often use Project Gutenberg for my coursework and personal reading. The downloads are quick and the choices cover all the classics I need. The website doesn’t have any paywalls or signups, which is refreshing.

Nice collection but the website navigation feels outdated and a bit confusing. Finding specific editions takes extra clicks.
