Mostly solid but some glitches
I’ve been working with FastSpring for about eight months now, handling subscription billing for my software. The platform is pretty solid and the compliance tools are helpful, especially with VAT and GST calculations. Still, I experienced a delay in payout once that wasn’t well communicated, which caused some stress on my end. Support eventually sorted it out but they could improve transparency on that. I’m sticking with them but hoping for smoother communication next time.
Good but small flaws
Easy subscription management, though I wish their dashboard was a bit more intuitive. decent for digital product sales.
Helpful platform but could improve UI
FastSpring handles payments securely and has great support, especially for subscription billing. However, the dashboard could be more modern and easier to navigate, sometimes I spend extra time just finding reports. Still, the tax compliance module makes it worth using, especially for global customers.
Good platform with room to improve
Payment gateway is stable, but I ran into issues with currency conversions a few times. Support resolved them, but it took some back and forth.
