dLocal’s platform is pretty solid handling payments across different emerging markets is complicated, but they make it simpler. However, sometimes the fees and exchange rate margins aren’t clearly shown upfront, which causes some headaches with budgeting. Wish they’d improve that part. The payments go through reliably and their local payment options are a big plus though.

Good features, slight hiccups
I like that dLocal supports so many local payment methods which really helped us expand into emerging markets. The API is well documented, so integration was smooth. The delay in payout notifications was a bit frustrating though and caused some confusion with my finance team.

User-friendly but support’s slow
The dashboard is clean and makes tracking payments easy, which is great for handling multiple countries. My only gripe is that the customer support sometimes takes ages to respond when I’ve got issues with transaction statuses. That part could be improved, otherwise happy with how fast funds arrive.

Great service but minor delays
I’ve been using dLocal for my ecommerce store’s international payments, especially in Latin America. Integration was pretty straightforward and their support team was helpful when I had trouble with local compliance questions. Sometimes the settlements take a bit longer than I expected, which is the only thing that slightly bugs me. But the platform manages multiple currencies well and my clients appreciate the local payment options. Definitely a solid choice for cross-border payments if you plan ahead.
