Great opportunity but watch the fees
I’ve been using Crowdcube for over a year now and have backed several startups. The platform gives access to some exciting early-stage businesses that you wouldn’t find elsewhere. One thing to be careful about is the fees on equity sales which are a bit higher than I expected. Also, the valuation info can sometimes be a little unclear, so I double-check with the companies directly. it's a solid way to diversify investments but keep an eye on the fine print.
Useful platform but lacks app features
Crowdcube’s website works well for browsing and investing, but I miss having a mobile app with notifications for updates or new campaigns. I ended up missing a great opportunity last month because I wasn’t checking emails often. The investment process is clear and secure though, and I like how they handle compliance checks promptly.

Crowdcube offers a great variety of startups to invest in, but sometimes the communication from companies after funding is slow. I’d like to see more frequent progress reports especially on the riskier ventures I backed. Still, the overall process of investing and managing my portfolio is pretty smooth.

Good platform but some delays
I invested in two startups through Crowdcube last year. The platform is pretty straightforward and I like the variety of businesses available. However, the payout for one of my investments was delayed by a couple of weeks which was a bit annoying.
Smooth experience, minor hiccup
I found Crowdcube easy to navigate and the investment process was mostly smooth. Though the customer support took a while to respond when I had questions about my portfolio updates. Still, the chance to back early-stage companies is worth it.
