Smooth staking but tricky initial setup
I was a bit overwhelmed at first trying to set up my node and participate in staking. The docs were thorough but somewhat technical for a newbie like me. However, after getting through the setup, the rewards started coming in steadily and I really appreciate how fast transactions confirm here. The platform feels secure, and I like that they focus on scalability without sacrificing performance. Customer support helped me out with the node sync issue, which was a relief.

Decent but network congestion can hurt
When traffic is low, Avalanche performs great and fees are minimal. But during peak times, I noticed some lag and slightly higher gas costs. It’s still better than Ethereum mainnet for sure, but it does get a bit congested occasionally, which impacted my DApp testing last week.

Good tech but wallet glitches
The platform itself is technically solid and fast, but the Avalanche wallet app sometimes crashes on me. Had to reinstall twice last week. Hopefully, they’ll fix that soon because otherwise, it’s a strong blockchain solution.
